The Why
The car community are an enthusiastic group that enjoy meeting up in person to discuss each others’ rides. Previously, users had to search social media for relevant events in their area but this could be convoluted and frustrating. Traditional social media platforms and forums, while popular, often fall short in providing a tailored experience for car lovers. They lack the specialised features that cater specifically to the needs of car enthusiasts, such as streamlined meetup coordination, instant updates on events, and an exclusive space to showcase their vehicles. By focusing exclusively on the needs of car enthusiasts, Drivr+ delivers a unique and engaging community experience unmatched by general platforms.
What we did
The Drivr+ App brings together car enthusiasts from all over, making it easy to find and connect with people who appreciate the beauty and thrill of automobiles. Users are able to locate events using an interactive map and find upcoming meetups, drive shows, or casual get-togethers with other drivers in the area.
Upon signing up, users build out their car profile with photos and details specs to share with friends and other event attendees.
Users can organise meetups, track RSVPs, and communicate with attendees through the My Events feature. The chat functionality allows users to communicate directly with each other to discuss the latest car trends, share latest mods, ask for advice, or simply enjoy some car talk with fellow enthusiasts.
